Criterion Hotel Redevelopment

Project Summary

Completed in 2017, The Criterion Hotel Redevelopment is a commercial project located in Sale, Victoria, involving the expansion and upgrade of an existing hospitality venue. The redevelopment transformed the site into a larger, more functional hotel offering improved accommodation and guest facilities within the local area.

Our Director, Matthew Flanagan, was involved in the delivery of this project while working with the Minster Group, acting as Site Manager from 2016 to 2017. The project included demolition of the existing bottle shop and construction of a new two-storey extension, increasing the hotel’s accommodation capacity from four to 16 boutique rooms, along with new reception, conference, bar and lift facilities.

Project Outcome

The redevelopment significantly enhanced the functionality and accommodation capacity of The Criterion Hotel, demonstrating capability in managing complex hospitality upgrades and extensions within an operational environment.
